House renovation: new photos of upstairs

So yesterday I showed you the downstairs, today it’s the turn of the upstairs.

This used to be the view to the back of the house, from the top of the stairs:

Which then turned into this:

And the last time I was there, looked like this:

Here’s the master bedroom as we bought it:

Then the builders started to get stuck in and turned our bedroom into this:

And the last time I was there, our master bedroom was looking like this:

And you can see in the next 2 photos that not a wall has been left intact.

I think it’s fair to say we’ve reached a low point in the project, both in terms of progress and enthusiasm. We put the offer in on the house over 12 months ago, and it’s going to be another 6 months at least before we can move in. If we’d known how long it was going to take from the outset, there’s no way we’d have bought the house and embarked on this renovation project.
