Photos: inside the wreck we’re renovating

June 16, 2010

I thought you might like to see inside the house we’re renovating. I’ll start with the downstairs. There’s not a huge amount to see, after all this is not a large house, but hopefully the photos paint a better picture of the project we’ve taken on.

First up, the sitting room at the front of the house:

Through to what some people might use as a dining room:

And on to the kitchen:

At the back of the existing kitchen are a bathroom and downstairs loo:

Tomorrow: a quick tour of the upstairs

Today’s observation: after just 4 hours sleep last night (I had a very unhappy baby after his vaccinations) I’m not in a fit state to say anything remotely intelligible – let alone intelligent – so I’ll refrain and just head off for my third coffee of the morning.

That house looks as though it has a lot of potential. It looks so light and spacious. Good luck with your project – it looks as though you have some amazing ideas for it!
